INTRICATE KNITTINGS (2020)

Our thoughts are the only things no one can take from us. All our mental skills, the way we interpret the time we live in, can become our shield, our fortress, our safety, which no one can take away. Our clothes can be our armour, our shield, our gentleness, our safety. Patterns on knitted materials are interpretations of centuries-old techniques used for basket weaving, macrame knots, braiding rope ... As always, the clothes’ silhouettes follow the patterns. Footwear combines different materials, such as knitwear, leather and rubber, and is manufactured from start to finish by the Alpina company in Ziri.

ZAPLETENO SPLETENO (2020)

Edino, česar nam ne more nihče odvzeti, so naše misli. Vsa naša miselna orodja in naša interpretacija obdobja, v katerem živimo, lahko ustvarijo ščit, trdnajvo, varnost, ki nam jih ne more odvzeti nihče. Tudi oblačila so lahko naš oklep, ščit, mehkoba in varnost. Vzorci na pleteninah so interpretacija stoletja starih tehnik pletenja košar, vozlanja makramejev, prepletenja vrvi ... Silhuete oblačil sledijo vzorcem, kot vedno. Obutev je izdelana iz različnih kombinacij materialov, kot so pletenina, usnje in guma. V celoti je izdelana v Alpini Ziri.
